Indiana University, the Irsay Institute, and the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community have put together a listserv, mhstigma-l, to facilitate collaboration across the university around issues related to mental health and stigma.

This Community of Practice (CoP) includes all regional IU campuses. The goal of this Community of Practice is to connect researchers and practitioners who have an interest in mental health and stigma, provide a venue for faculty and staff across IU campuses to receive information about potential funding sources and federal and state activities, and to learn about training opportunities.

Our goals are to have faculty share information about their research studies, to look for potential collaborators, and to keep everyone on the list informed of the important work undertaken by individual members.

This is an opportunity to have conversation with like-minded colleagues. This is also an opportunity for members to better understand the pressing issues of IU students and staff, and to make sure that practices remain relevant. And finally, it is a resource for all staff and faculty to ask questions about working across IU that will benefit students and staff and equip all with needed tools and strategies.
