Anna Mueller co-authors article offering a vision for building suicide prevention capacities in schools

Indiana University Bloomington social scientist Anna Mueller has co-written an article in Contexts that offers “a sociological vision for building sustainable, equitable, and effective suicide prevention capacities across school communities” throughout the United States. Contexts magazine is a venue for making cutting-edge social research available to interested, general readers and the public.

Mueller recently received a $1.24 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to advance her ongoing research on schools and youth suicide. Dr. Mueller, Senior Research Program Leader at the Irsay, leads the Lives & Death of Trauma & Despair research area. She is currently the Luther Dana Waterman Associate Professor in the IU College of Arts and Sciences’ Department of Sociology.
