BK Lee’s article on the role of multilayered peer groups in adolescent depression wins Best Publication Award

Congratulations to Byungkyu (BK) Lee, Continuity Lead at the Irsay! His article (co-written with Dohoon Lee), “The Role of Multilayered Peer Groups in Adolescent Depression: A Distributional Approach,” in The American Journal of Sociology 25:6 (May 2020) has been selected as the co-winner of the 2022 Best Publication Award from the American Sociological Association’s Section on the Sociology of Mental Health.

Dr. Lee’s research demonstrates the relevance of network theories and methods for sociological inquiry in a variety of substantive areas in the field of health, politics, and network science.
