Biography

Rossmary Márquez-Lameda is a PhD candidate in Health Behavior at IU Bloomington School of Public Health. Her research focuses on the usage of a variety of research methodologies to understand forced migration, access to healthcare among refugees and more recently, media communications during emergencies responses. Before starting her PhD program at IU, Rossmary worked as a health communications specialist and research consultant at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta. Rossmary has an undergraduate degree in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon and an MPH from Texas A&M University. Rossmary is originally from Venezuela.
