Biography
Megdalynn Fisher is a PhD Candidate in Public Affairs at Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Situating her policy analysis in the context of long-term care, public finance, and mental health, she utilizes quasi-experimental and empirical methods to examine the effects of policies on the vulnerable population institutionalized in nursing homes. Her enthusiasm for public service suffuses her research, teaching, and life. Prior to her doctoral program, she completed an MPA at the Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics at Brigham Young University, and a BS in Economics at Utah Valley University. Megdalynn is available for interviews for the 2023 – 2024 job market.
