Biography
Emily Ekl is a PhD candidate in sociology. Her research examines healthcare organizations and how allied health professionals navigate organizational and professional constraints to provide patient care. She is a 2023 recipient of the American Sociological Association’s Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Grant and a Policy Communications Training Fellow for the Population Reference Bureau.
